Blockchain 101 Session at Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MoCIT), Government of Nepal

On November 17, 2025, we had the privilege of joining the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MoCIT) for their Emerging Technology (Blockchain) discussion series, where our CTO, Santosh Shrestha, delivered an insightful Blockchain 101 session.

The session gathered representatives from several government agencies at the Ministry Hall, sparking meaningful conversations around how blockchain can strengthen public systems. Santosh introduced the fundamentals of blockchain, including transparency, security, and automation, and discussed how these features can support more efficient, trustworthy government processes.

What stood out most was the genuine curiosity and openness shown by participants. Their questions and reflections made it clear that Nepal is increasingly ready to explore and embrace new technologies like blockchain, not just as a global trend but as a strategic tool for improving governance, service delivery, and digital infrastructure.

At eSatya, we are committed to supporting this momentum. Through capacity-building sessions, open dialogue, and collaborative exploration, we aim to contribute to Nepal’s digital transformation journey and help shape a future where decentralized technologies play a meaningful role.

We look forward to continued engagement as Nepal steps confidently into the next chapter of innovation.
